6 Reasons to Go to Celebrate Israel 2022
Join the Denver Jewish Community for Our Annual Israel Festival
The Celebrate Israel Walk & Festival is just weeks away, and we’re finding all the blue and white we can. While we wrap up the finishing touches, here are just a few reasons you won’t want to miss the fun on Sunday, May 1, at JCC Denver!Â
1. Dance-Worthy Music
From dance & electronic sounds to old-school rock, Israel is known for pumping out powerhouse musicians of every genre. Get down to beats from Static & Ben El or ease your way through the festivities with the help of Noar Shulaim’s laid-back tunes. Let the music guide you through a fun-filled day at Celebrate!
2. Delicious Kosher Food
What would a festival be without great food? Whether you’re looking for a sweet treat to reward yourself after the walk for Israel, or in need of a filling meal for the kids to munch on between rounds of gaga, we’ve come prepared. Enjoy multiple kosher options provided by some of Denver’s best kosher vendors and stay satisfied throughout the day.Â
3. Blue Looks Great on You!
Not only is blue one of the two main colors of the Israeli flag, but fun fact: Blue is the world’s favorite color! Further, it’s also the rarest color found in nature. So, find your favorite blue outfit and show off what makes you unique, just like Israel!Â
4. Reconnect with the Local Jewish Community
Is all this talk about Israel and Judaism reigniting your interest in getting involved in the community? That’s great! Strike up a conversation with a staff member or stop by one of our booths and learn more about our programs for Jews of all ages.Â
5. Enjoy Family Time
Stroll through the festivities with your family and friends and take in the sites and appreciate your time with one another. A lot is happening in the world, and it’s important for us to remember and value the time we are given to connect and simply enjoy each other’s company.Â
6. It’s Israel’s 74th BirthdayÂ
It’s no coincidence that Celebrate falls around the same time that Israel marks its 74th anniversary of independence. Just one more reason to don your blue swag!Â
Summer is coming up fast, and so is Celebrate Israel 2022, so don’t wait! Join us for our annual walk and festival on Sunday, May 1, starting at 9:00 am. We can’t wait to see you!Â
