CMU Presents Dignity in Dialogue Speaker Series: An Evening with Bret Stephens

The CMU Civic Forum is proud to announce the 2024 Dignity in Dialogue Speaker Series, focusing on fostering civil discourse, understanding and mutual respect in conversations on pressing societal issues. The series will focus on defining a Human Scale University and CMU’s effort to create a model of the world we want to create by emphasizing the campus value of Dignity and extending the value to the campus and larger community.

Join us on April 4th as we welcome Bret Stephens for a discussion on global politics and the importance of free expression in our local area, on campus, and within our global community.

Bret is a Pulitzer prize-winning columnist for the New York Times and is known for his insightful commentary on politics and foreign affairs. With a sharp wit and nuanced perspective, Stephens’ writing challenges readers to consider diverse viewpoints and engage critically with contemporary issues.
