The film will be followed by a talkback/community conversation with Denver’s own Debra Fine, international speaker and author of The Fine Art of Smalltalk: How to Start a Conversation, Keep It Going, Build Networking Skills, and Leave a Positive Impression.

Join or Die follows the half-century journey of social scientist Robert Putnam, whose groundbreaking book Bowling Alone explores how the decline in civic engagement could hold the answers to a more cohesive, peaceful, and promising future for us all. The movie features many famous faces and underscores the importance of each one of us taking our place in our democracy and our world.
