Kavod on the Road: Ukraine-Russia War: The View From Denver

Cristina A.  Bejan, an award-winning Romanian-American historian,
theatre artist and spoken word poet living and creating in Denver will talk
about the history of Ukraine and Russia, and Eastern Europe at large. She will
reveal how the Putin’s invasion and subsequent war in Ukraine is no surprise.

Professor  Bejan will  share her  family history in
neighboring Romania and constant threat of Russian aggression that Eastern
Europe has lived with for centuries. Finally she will share insights on how the
war has been discussed and misrepresented in the USA by academics and students
alike.
