Event Details

Boulder Conversations with Extraordinary People is back at the Boulder Museum. Join us for the 12th season of our well-loved speaker series. This series highlights the innovative people whose connection with our city makes Boulder the remarkable community that it is today. This season’s theme is diversity and partnership, and we have chosen to collaborate with eight diverse Boulder organizations that have all made immense contributions to the living history of our community. Each speaker will tell their personal story, life journey, and work for about 60mins followed by 30mins of Q&A.

The Boulder JCC is thrilled to partner with the Boulder Museum to present Marion Kreith. Marion was born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1927. As a Holocaust survivor, her childhood was marked by antisemitism, uncertainty, disruption, the detention of her father, war, and ultimately escape from Germany to Belgium…France… Cuba…and finally, to the United States. Marion and her husband Frank moved to Boulder in 1959. Marion will share stories from her amazing journey and how they shaped her life.

This program will be at the Museum of Boulder at Tebo Center, 2205 Broadway Boulder, CO 80302.
