COMMUNITY CALL TO ACTION COUNTERING ANTISEMITISM IN A TIME OF CRISIS:

Responding to Increased Antisemitic Incidents Since the October 7 Attack by Hamas and Calls to Destroy the Jewish State of Israel

On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists brutally killed more than 1,400 children, women, and men, and kidnapped over 240 more who are being held as hostages in Gaza. Since that time, Hamas has caused a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, as Israel does what it must do to retrieve the hostages and take out the terrorist’s weapons hidden in and under homes, mosques, and hospitals.

There has been a shocking increase in antisemitism in the United States and around the world since the invasion. Loud voices and signs at anti-Israel rallies, pronouncements by professors, and statements by co-workers and friends have added to a feeling of fear and anxiety in the Jewish community.
