Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month (JDAIM) Kick Off Event with Maggie Whittum

HOW CAN WE BETTER UNDERSTAND AND SUPPORT THOSE WITH CHRONIC ILLNESS AND CHRONIC PAIN?

Maggie Whittum is re-emerging into life as an artist, after having survived a massive

brainstem stroke in 2014 at age 33. Maggie shares her story of illness and identity to

help others understand chronic pain. She is creating ‘The Great Now What’, a

documentary about her experience with stroke, disability, loss and resilience.
