HOW CAN WE BETTER UNDERSTAND AND SUPPORT THOSE WITH CHRONIC ILLNESS AND CHRONIC PAIN?
Maggie Whittum is re-emerging into life as an artist, after having survived a massive
brainstem stroke in 2014 at age 33. Maggie shares her story of illness and identity to
help others understand chronic pain. She is creating ‘The Great Now What’, a
documentary about her experience with stroke, disability, loss and resilience.
This program is made possible by Jewish Family Service of Colorado Jewish Disabilities Advocates program.
