When the Beatles breached Manhattan’s shores in 1964, they initiated the biggest musical revolution since Elvis Presley in 1956. Although they were well-armed, the Beatles couldn’t sustain an invasion without reinforcements like the Rolling Stones. Led by the Beach Boys, the Supremes, and the Four Seasons, The Yanks fought bravely, but were soon overwhelmed by a rapid-fire onslaught that brought the Dave Clark Five, Herman’s Hermits, The Animals, The Hollies, Tom Jones, The Zombies, The Who, Petula Clark, and other Redcoats into the fray.
This will be held at the Virginia Village Library Branch 1500 S Dahlia St. Mead Community space.
Include light refreshment will be provided.
