Join us for a deeply moving evening of reflection and connection as we explore the meaning of “home” and the strength it takes to rebuild after unimaginable loss.
We are honored to host Yovel Sharvit, who will share her powerful story of love, loss, and survival. Yovel married the man of her dreams, Mor Trabelsi, on September 7, 2023. Exactly one month later, on October 7, Mor was tragically murdered in front of her while they fled the Nova Music Festival.
Program Highlights:
- Yovel Sharvit’s Story: A testimony of courage, love, and the will to rebuild.
- Honoring Mor’s Memory: Reflecting on his life and legacy—may his memory be a blessing forever.
- The Meaning of Home: A thoughtful exploration of the profound difference between a house and a home. Discover the spiritual significance of the mezuzah as a symbol of connection and protection. Together, we will also offer heartfelt prayers for the hostages and the State of Israel, fostering hope and unity during these challenging times- Led by Rabbi Mintz, Chabad Jewish Center.
- Hands-On Activity: Participants will create mezuzah to send to families in Israel who have been displaced, helping them rebuild their home.
This program is brought to you by JEWISHcolorado Israel & Overseas Center in collaboration with Chabad Jewish Center and BMH-BJ Congregation
