Dear friends,

Our organizations have joined together to sound an alarm about the chilling and hateful anti-Jewish acts taking place across the country and in cities around the world. There is a documented rise in online and real-world incidents of antisemitism, including acts of harassment, vandalism, and violence.

On Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 2:00 pm (MT), we invite you to join a national, virtual Day of Action Against Antisemitism, in partnership with the JEWISHcolorado, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Mountain States Region, Rose Community Foundation, and the Secure Community Network (SCN).

During the Day of Action Against Antisemitism, we will provide tools to amplify your voice and thousands of others to demand action, and we encourage you to logon and join the virtual rally featuring prominent government officials, as well as leaders from the Jewish community and civil rights organizations, among others.

This event comes after several Jewish organizations partnered to urge the Biden Administration to take concrete steps against antisemitism. You can read the full letter here. Both President Biden and Vice President Harris have responded in solidarity, as have other representatives and governmental officials.  

During periods of increased antisemitic rhetoric and violence, it is important for everyone in our Jewish community to remain both alert and aware of your surroundings. If you are the victim of any kind of antisemitic harassment, please call 911 immediately and report it to the police, providing them with as much information as you can about what happened. It is critical that any such incidents get reported as soon as possible. Please also report incidents to the Anti-Defamation League and to our Regional Security Advisor (RSA) and former FBI agent Philip Niedringhaus at pniedringhaus@securecommunitynetwork.org.
