A “magical” Shabbat experience for kids and their adults!

HEA celebrates Shabbat is AWESOME, our inaugural launch of a new program with our special guest, Michael Harlow! Join your HEA friends after kiddush lunch for a Shabbat afternoon designed with programs and activities for all ages and snacks galore. Stay for it all, or come for a bit.

1:00-3:00 p.m., Board games, Maj, Canasta, Children’s craft activities with PJ library, sports (inside or outside depending on the weather)
1:00-2:00 p.m. Adult learning with Rabbi Shulman
2:00 p.m., Niggun Music circle with Eitan
3:00 p.m., High Tea at 3—we will make some high tea sandwiches to enjoy and some for donation and enjoy some tea .
3:45 p.m. Optional Mincha
4:00 p.m. Intergenerational Family Feud and/or Life-size Candyland
4:30 p.m., Puppet Show with Michael Wurzman
5:15 p.m., Havdalah with Michael Harlow and Rabbi Shulman

Join JEWISHcolorado’s Young Adult Division (YAD) for a night of schmoozing, food, and drinks followed by a stroll through the “Blossoms of Light” outdoor exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens on Saturday, December 7. Grab your favorite hot beverage (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available) and gather your #JewCrew for an evening of sparkling bright lights and delicious bites. Don’t forget to dress for the occasion: Warm and wonderful (e.g. jeans and a sweater)✨ Registration is first come, first served and space is limited, so register before spots fill up! A Shabbat celebration for families with young children

Hosted on a Saturday morning, your whole family can join us for singing, dancing, and stories! This program is offered in-person.

Isaac & Rabbi Shawna will lead a two-hour “Street Art Prophecy” spray paint workshop for teens (limited to 30 participants; 14+) including a lesson on Jewish prophetic teaching, Tel Aviv street art, and a hands-on workshop. We will meet on the South Building lawn.

Please join us for an interactive musical Chanukah celebration with Jeff and Paige in Levin Hall! This annual event will get your family excited for the Festival of Lights with elaborate costumes (including Latke Man!) and catchy songs. Jeff and Paige use storytelling to explore Chanukah and celebrate its many traditions. This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome (best for children ages 2-8 years old).

Join Rabbi Samuel & Gila Ross on select Sundays throughout the year for this wonderful and welcoming groups for parents of 0-5s. Enjoy musical prayer together and a light brunch as you get to know our community of like-minded adults.

Just in time for gifts for loved ones as we showcase different artisans from the local community!

In true PJ party fashion, we’ll have a cookie decorating station, crafts and plenty of latkes to go around. We are excited to be having this at one of our favorite venues, Table Public House, so there will be plenty of libation opportunities for the grownups 🙂

To get things off to a festive start, we kindly request that you wear something Chanukah-themed (sweaters and/or PJS are encouraged!). And to help offset the cost of food, we kindly request that you contribute $25/family.

Please RSVP by 12/8 and feel free to make your contribution HERE. (We never want finances to be a barrier to entry so please just contribute what you are comfortable with).

Shwayder Camp isn’t just for summer fun! Join Shwayder Camp Director Rose Savage Levenson for a snowshoe (or hike) up to Shwayder Camp to enjoy the majesty of the mountains in winter. Participants will snowshoe roughly 3 miles roundtrip, with the first half being all uphill. Our adventure will take us from 9,000+ feet to 10,200 feet. Please make sure that you are in good physical condition to participate.
