With anti-Israel protests on campuses and threat incidents rising across the country, Jewish community members are asking themselves, “is it safe to be Jewish?“ Hear from Michael Masters, SCN’s CEO and recognized expert in security, terrorism, law enforcement, and antisemitism, about the threats we are facing, and how we can work together to secure Jewish life – today, and for the future.

Michael Masters serves as the National Director and CEO of the Secure Community Network (SCN), the official safety and security organization for the Jewish community in North America.

Prior to joining SCN, Mr. Masters served as an executive of a leading international security consultancy firm and as the CEO of an advanced predictive analytics company. Mr. Masters previously served as executive director of the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management for Cook County, Ill., and as the Chief of Staff for the Chicago Police Department. Mr. Masters received a commission as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Masters is the only individual in the country to hold appointments on both the federal Homeland Security Advisory Council and Faith-Based Advisory Council. He also serves as a member of the Executive Board of the FBI’s Chicago Joint Terrorism Task Force.
